I was thinking of getting an automatic feeder for my fish because most of the time i forget to feed them. It's a device where you set the times it releases food on top the aquarium.
Anybody with experience with these things? I fear it will malfunction and the fish would starve.

Either that or you could get some of those great new memory pills. I got some for my memory and they work great. Problem is that I just keep forgetting to take them. Hey!! Maybe I should get an automatic feeder that makes me keep taking them.

They actually work pretty well. You just have to make sure that the pieces of food are small enough to fit through the opening without clogging it up. I always feed my fish right before I eat my dinner. This way I don't forget.

yes, get one, but still check on the fish every so often to make sure that the feeder is working properly.

I got one for my fish, when I went out of town, I just started using it a couple days ahead of time to make sure it worked properly.

auto feeders only work if you remember to fill them if you forget to feed the fish how will you remember to fill a feeder ???????

Yeah you should get one if you keep forgetting to feed them. I used one and didn't have any problems with it.

I think thats lazy- you shouldnt own fish...the easiest pet to own...
i got a fish when i was 8 and he lived because i fed him at regular intervals.

I'd invest in one if I were you. They're reliable and a good investment. I don't think they are expensive, maybe $20.00
