i guess it can be regular paint too. just so that it will charge the color of his coat for a little while and won't hurt him to breath or wear.

I dont have a website to give you but Iam thinking that you could use that spray that people use during halloween to dye there hair for a day and then it washes out. I would assume that if its safe for people it would be safe for horses but I could be wrong.

Mix up some food coloring and put it in a spray bottle. It is cheap, fast, and non toxic. We did this to a grey Grand Prix jumper one year for St. Patrick's day. He got dyed green, and we got the farrier to give us some of the clear sealer that he uses and mixed gold glitter into it. Green horse with gold sparkling hooves. The green came out of everything but his tail when we gave him a bath that afternoon.
Great idea, by the way.

Check with golf course suppliers, they make a chalk based paint.Think about the RonCo hair stuff for bald guys.It sprays on and washes out.Don't know what color you need, but if it's OK for people it should be safe for a horse.

you can find out from the farmers in maine. they spray "cow" on the sides of their cows. people from n.y. city go up there and shoot them, because they don';t know the difference between a cow and a deer. this is true, i have seen many and talked to the toll takers on the maine turnpike who stop 2 or 3 a month tied on the trunk of a car. they actually try to bring a cow thru the toll booth. true

I would say that spray on human hair dye would probably work well. You can get it at most stores that sell Halloween stuff, and it washes off really easily.

No offense meant, but you are doing this for your own amusement...do you really think the pony wants to be sprayed pink and purple? That's just cruel.

go to a place that sells sheep dye that you can use on horses too. or if you want to dye him red or pink, let fruit punch set on him for a while...i am not kidding....i saw this lady do it to her dog and horse at an art show, and they were o.k.
