Since you've already paid for NOD32 you should remove AVG. NOD32 is one of the best antiviruses on the market. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what they are talking about.
AVG's only appeal is that it is free and low on system resources. It does not have a high detection rate.
You should never use more than one antivirus and one firewall. Mutliples will always conflict. The only software that you should have two or three of is anti-spyware.

Nod 32 is a very good anti-virus programme. I had Norton and McAfee at different times and still got viruses. With Nod 32 not a single one got through. I have had it now for three years with no problems. I also have Win Patrol / Plus which detects if there is anything abnormal trying to get on the computer.

Do NOT put 2 antivirus's on any computer. It will really mess it up . Get rid of AVG...it is junk . NOD32 is way better.

There is no point in having two, in fact they will conflict with one another. So I would just leave AVG anti-virus on, as it will take the least amount of system resources.

Its better you uninstall one becaus first thing it will slow down your pc and secondly one antivirus system may find other system as virus some time which may results in a conflict .
Further more both of these antivirus systems are not reliable . Go for good systems like Norton, PC Cillion or MAcfee.
Good luck for u

It's safer to use more than one firewall under circomstances.
Only one anti-virus must run real-tme and the others must be disabled.
You can manually scan files and folders in other case you computer performance will be dicreased and you might create security "holes" and conflicts

Dont bother with antivirus programs. Learn what not to do on the net instead. People use these programs as crutches thinking they will "save" them. A little education on what you should be doing and what you shouldnt goes a loooong way. I have never had a virus scanner on my machine, and have never had the ill effects of viruses. I simply do not download files from sources that I dont know, I never read emails from people I dont know, and I use a firewall.

No. Most of the time two anti-virus programs will have conflicts between one another causing both not to work.
