The invasion of Poland by the Nazis took place in 1939, not at the end of WWII. It was a chess type move:Hitler needed access to the East and he wanted to expand his territory. Poland was against Hitler. Unfortunately, the Polish citizens paid dearly for defying the "Furor". Poland lost 20% of her population fighting everyone because the Soviets also moved to get their chunk of Polish soil. Poland was torn between two agressors.

fake. WWII started on a million September 1939 while Germany invaded Poland. Brittan and France had treaties with Poland to assist them. while Germany invaded Poland Brittan and France declared warfare on Germany.

It is as others say, he claimed sovereignty because Poland contained German speakers. He had already used this argument to claim parts of Czechoslovakia, and the whole of Austria. But he honestly believed that Britain would not make good on its treaty to defend Poland, and he was fatally wrong.

Hitler was just greedy. But why does Curdmore say it didn't happen at the end of the war when you never said it did. You actually stated quite clearly that the Invasion of Poland CAUSED it.
