If it is 3am in London, it would be 10pm in New York City. There is a five hour time difference between New York and London.

We are very similar in respect to our personalities. We have large commercial shopping centres large cities we have some of the most picturesque countryside in the world. I think you would be surprised at just how nice people are over here. Of course we have our problems like any other country, like immigration, unemployment, it rains a lot. One difference you will see is that British people seem to do nothing but whinge about politics etc, but ask them if they voted in the last election and they would usually say no. If I were you I would consider Manchester or Liverpool as a viable alternative to London. They both have good nightlife and shopping area's and people will always say the people up north are friendly.

10 PM (whatever the time is subtract 4 hours unless it is daylight savings time then subtract 5) or you can just do what I do and pull up the weather channel site. All of their maps give time in GMT (England) and EDT Eastern Daylight Time (New York). So, if it says 14:58 GMT it also says 10:58 EDT.
