Even if you know a good site, or book, please recommend. I really want to do this and find it's like trying to understand Chinese.

do not start anything on ebay without a paypal account.if you pay by cheque you have no comeback i lost 200 because i sent a cheque the first time i used it because i couldn't wait for paypal a/c to be opened. secondly always check feedback which you will find a link for in the top right hand corner of the items page.any thing else you are unsure of ask seller a question. after that a lot of the stuff you'll gain by experience.goodluck

o its so much fun :) its easy I dont think you really need a book
its super easy though eBay does the work for you really the only thing you need to do is to take the pictures and pay the little fees then just list list list away :)
o ya and always start at 99 cents its more fun that way also most importantly dont be a afraid to make a buck on shipping :)

you need a bank account to do this. and its really very easy. making your advert is painstakingly slow when you first start, but, the basics are; take well exposed, properly lit photos, give a good, consice (short and to the point) description and be absoulely honest..
start it at a quid/dollar, and let them fight over it. eBay actually do an idiots guide ontheir website..customer services...
