I have heard the lighting produces ozone that makes the air crisp and tingley, also I think people are a little frightened of storms and get a bit of an adrenaline rush, that is my kind of scientific answer.
Yes, I like storms from the safety of a building, not so much from a car in traffic.

Yes!! I like those ions that make me feel like i have had too much coffee. I love the smell after a good storm. They are totally refreshing to me.

i dont like just boring rain. i love summerstorms, where its still warm and u can still stand in the rain and spin around, it gives me this free feeling. i like the ones which have great thinder and huge lighting, where you can actually see the exact lines of the light, because they are just awesome to watch. but boring rain is just so... boring! lol...
