I'm curious to know more about the alleged existence of the Mothman - I'm especially interested in details not shared thru the Richard Gere/Debra Messing film a few years back. Any input or resources greatly appreciated!

There was a special on him on the travel channel last nite. Go to Point Pleasant, West Virginia and talk to the townspeople like they did on the special. Verdict seems to be out as to whether he is good or bad. This town is right on the southeast border of Ohio. I live in Indiana and my husband & I thought we would drive out there sometime.

The weird events connected to the Mothman began on November 12, 1966 near Clendenin, West Virginia. couples spotted two large eyes that were attached to something that was "shaped like a man, but bigger, maybe six or seven feet tall. And it had big wings folded against its back

I'm interested in the Moth Man too. I have looked through so much stuff. Try the Enigma Cryptozoo. Just type it in a search engine and there should be a website. I don't have any personal experiences. Sorry.

The truth??? It's all a bunch of B.S. I was in W.VA. before anything about it came around. We were sitting around makeing up ghost storys, one person says some, then the next continues it & so on & so on. We had fun & a good laugh. Said it sounded like it could be real. This was right before 2 of us left to go back to Ohio. The people we were staying with down there said they were gonna tell somepeople they know the story & make it sound like it was all real. We laughed & said O.k. & left. We come back about 4 months later, but to visit other people further south. We're sitting around & they're telling us about storys & things that happened. They end up telling us that story!!! Now these two people don't know each other at all. In any way shape or form anywhere down the line. We tell them its B.S. but they won't listen. On our way back, we stop & tell the origional people. We all laugh. They say they'll anounce to the people they told that its all a big joke. Next time we go to visit them, they tell us noone would belive it was a joke!!! We all laugh & forget about it. And now I'm hearing about it again.
