Yes,
If you accept the failure, then the failure will be converted as a step for your success. Otherwise, that will be converted as a barrier for your success.

Absolutely there is an advantage to accepting failure; it
is called being mentally healthy. If you don't understand that
failure is part of life, then you will set yourself up for problems
later. Possibly depression, anger, disappointment, bigger failure, etc.
A mature, mentally healthy person understands that failure is an opportunity to learn. If you learn from your mistakes you can go on to do better next time. If you don't ever learn and continue to make the same mistakes over and over, something is very wrong.
It is best to accept what was done, make ammends (if need be) and then go on to do better.

In my opinion to fail will of course, bring disappointment which affects us in two ways 1 - It drives us into being more determined to try again and succeed (to thinking positively)
2 - We become a defeatist and give up.
If you have encouragement, and are not treated by people (parents) as if you were a complete failure, I think most people would get back on their feet. Being put down causes a great deal of damage and sometimes is carried with you all through you life.
So it's IF AT FIRST YOU DO NOT SUCCEED - TRY TRY TRY AGAIN.

Depends on why you failed and at what point you reach the threshold of giving up. If you allow one failure to dictate the point at which you give up on future problems then you have reached a plateau in your life that you will never overcome. Accepting and embracing are 2 different things.
