Honey, him leaving probably has very little to do with what you look like and more to do with what HE feels like on the inside. It's not your fault that he left you and you can't blame yourself. I'm sure that you are a beautiful woman in many ways and in order to start thinking about yourself in that way, you have to focus on the fact that he didn't leave because of you. Try going to get your nails and your hair done (it sounds petty, but it really does help to make a woman feel special and feminine). You might also want to go buy a new outfit and "go out with the girls", or maybe even just join a woman's club or a church group (if you're into that). You need to get out of the house, get some support and stop blaming yourself for something that isn't your fault! Good Luck, Sweetie!

Well, number one, your NOT a worthless ugly pig. Please don't think about yourself like that. You have lost your self esteem which happens in a situation like this. Try to think positive. I know it's hard. Very hard. Some things you can do is to start an exercise routine. It will help you mentally and physically. Go out with friends. Go to church if you do not go at the moment. Take up a new hobby to keep your mind busy. Try not to concentrate on him leaving you. Concentrate on the fact that he was not the one for you and that one day soon, you will find the love of your life. Take things slow. Don't expect too much out of yourself too quickly. You need time to heal your heart. Rushing things will not help. Stay as busy as you can. When you start feeling down, get up and do something or go somewhere to relax the mind, body and soul. Something or somewhere you love. Bless you....

Best way to get over a man is to get under another!
Have self respect darling! Dont call yourself a worthless ugly pig. Call yourself a gorgeous, sexy woman and start acting like it!
If he's left you, then he's got issues. It's not easy to get over - I KNOW that from experience - but you CAN get over it if you want to.
Lots of help out there - ask your friends to help, do things for yourself, change the house around, get new haircut etc. and show him you can manage on your own and not fall apart!
You can do it!

I agree with (mostly) everyone else. As hard as this is for you, can you try to channel that energy into yourself? Working out, get involved in other things, seek out support groups even on the internet. I am sure you are beautiful but you just don't feel like that right now. Sorry to hear this happened to you. Let him find out the beautiful person he gave up. Chances are he may do the same to this other woman someday but I can't be 100% sure. Best to you and take good care of yourself. Let yourself grieve if that is what you must do. It takes time time time. Be well!

You need to realize that when men get down about their life, they rarely take responsiblity for their own unhappiness. They try and find things outside of their body to blame for the unhappiness, and often times it is their spouse. Regardless of how loving and caring you are, he will try and find something about you that doesnt' agree with him and exploit it as the cause of his unhappiness. Naturally he will think he needs to find a new woman to regain his happiness.
Do not judge yourself based off of other people's actions. Your ex was down about his life and didn't know how to handle it. He probably blamed you, but 90% of the time it had nothing to do with you.
Here is a trick. We have all been hurt emotionally. sometimes intentionally or just from carelessness. What you need to do is realize that when a person is in a bad place or feeling insecure about themself, they either flight or fight. They run and hide from everyone or they lash out and try and hurt everyone around them so their life doesn't seem so bad. The key is, when you see someone that is being mean, selfish or thoughtless it is their scared inner child that doesn't know what do do except scream andmake noise. And all that child needs is a little more love, and realizing it isn't you that makes the child scream but their own perception of reality.
Realize the man you once loved expected something different from his life and needed a change. But it isn't a reflection of you. Chances are he will leave this other woman too.
Don't let other people decide who you are!

well look at the woman he left you for and say,"what does she have that i don't have?"
if the answer is looks then think, "she could never have liked like that without surgery, I'm a natural looker!"
if the answer is money then think, "aw well he's only a lousy goldigger, money CAN'T buy you love, it won't last long!"
if the answer is a husband then think, "aw well he'll find out that she loves her husband and not him and if he comes back to me I'll dump him with his sorry!"
if the answer is youth then think," he'll not want her when she's older and got a few wrinkles, he'll move on to an even younger version and face it nobody will want him at that stage as he'll be a silver haired wrinkly old git!!she probably has a bit on the side any way, someone her own age!!"
just go out, enjoy yourself with your mates and forget about him, I'm sure you could find a better man than you already had!!

What your husband did wasn't right, but it wasn't your fault and you need to know that. I am very sorry that you are going through this right now. There is nothing that is going to immediatly take the pain away. But know that you are loved and what your husband did was wrong, not you. Make sure that you stay close to people in this time, it might be easy to seclude yourself, but not healthy. Right now you need your friends and family the most. I defintlay suggest you try councling, if you go to church talk to your pastor and have people pray for you. I pray that your heart will be healed. Know that you are beautiful and pricless, and there is hope.
