I need to do a website for my husband's forestry business that has a password/username function, so only members can log in in that certain page to view timber sales. I am currently taking a html class, which program is easier to use?

Go for Dreamweaver - Frontpage will be discontinued in late 2006 according to Microsoft.

I learned Dreamweaver first so Frontpage was very awkward to use.

I use Frontpage and didn't really have any issues with it. It is easy to learn if you are familiar with the other Office programs. I have heard that Dreamweaver is better. You can take an online tour of Frontpage at the Office website, and you can probably do the same for Dreamweaver. That might help make your decision easier.

i like using FrontPage, but as someone above said, it can be tricky. 4 both frontpage and dreamweaver, u need basic html knowledge, if any. so both r pretty good.
frontpage has good options for forms and database connectivity, which seems like what u want. dreamweaver has many templates and u can do ur work quickly

and a s the person above said, frontpage could be discontinued soon, so i suggest u use dreamweaver.

I use FrontPage, but it has some imperfections and can be a little confusing and tricky. The FrontPage templates take up the whole screen, which is questionable regarding the way it will appear in various browsers.

I've heard some other recommendations for Netobjects Fusion.

If you want to do a pro job use Dreamweaver. Also since Adobe bought Macromedia you will have a HUGE support network at Adobe. Dreamweaver isnt that hard to use and it's very easy to design and build table-less websites that look great in any browser.

Dream Weaver is really good BUT Pricey
Stay away from front page, buggy, hard to use and dose not transport well between Non-Explorer browsers

You might try ACE html Its free as is ACE ftp
they are easy to use and work well
