you tilt your head one side with your ear facing the ground. Then you jump keep your head tilted to the side.
This would help getting water out of the ears.

Alcohol works best. There are also drops available over the counter for "swimmers ear" that can be a big help if this happens to you often. I've also had good luck with tilting the ear that seems full of water toward the floor and jumping up and down a few times on one leg. Sounds dumb - but it works!

There is a product I used to use for my daughter called SwimEar. I would put that in her ears and sometimes have her lie down with her ear on a towel til it drained.

In diving we use a mixture with equal parts white vinegar, rubbing alcohol and hydrogen peroxide (3%). Same thing as branded swimmer's ear drops but way cheaper...
