Forget what every other person tells you here on the internet. This is something that happens to thousands of people and even happened to a few people in my family. This is a form of OCD - (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), and is a sub-division known as "Chaotic Thinking." Granted, you might not have any tendencies towards OCD, like straightening desk articles or opening and closing doors constantly, but, OCD runs a lot deep and can in fact cause many problems such as Chaotic Thinking. This form of OCD can have varying effects, for instance; sitting in a cinema as you said and the sudden urge hits you as so, "What would happen if I punched the person right in the face who is sitting next to me? What would happen?" Trust me, you're not the first for this to happen to. It's normal and actually to be honest, by psychological standards, more artistic people tend to have OCD because there is just so much brain activity going on and has a difficulty being sorted out.
Trust me, you're not going crazy, you are probably beginning to develop your inner ability of critical thinking at this age, and soon or later on, you may have some strange artistic ideas that seem strange to you, but may come very naturally. I'm also talking art in the figuritive sense, not just drawing art, but, music, paint, dance, theater, etc.
Best of luck to you lad.

I think most young boys go through this. If you look around there are always boys fighting, punching kicking, wrestling and whatever else. It's just not many of them resist it like you did. Congrats for keeping yourself under control. :)

It's called 'misanthrobrachyia'.
So far as is known, it is a condition confined to you and your dad.
