Good Question! Well For permanancy of Love you need to be Transparent. Transparent about everything Right and Wrong.
(this automatically brings in faithfulness,honesty...) TO Summarise its CHARACTER.
LOVE....infact these days for even an infatuation is termed as Love ...its more of a Fashion..than a Feeling.
LOVE IS UNCONDITINAL....if it is unconditional it is Love otherwise it is jus Business.

Love is an emotion. As an emotion it varies in intensity over time. Permanency in love requires the ability to distinquish between 'love' and 'infactuation'. So often these two emotions get confused and a person thinks they are one and the same. They are two separate emotions and you can have both strong emotions toward a person or you can have just one of them. Permanency in love develops with time. As people spend time together they grow. When they allow them self to grow in a different direction than their partner, then it leaves a gulf between them. Quite often this gulf widens and eventually the relatlionship dissolves. A permanent relationship requires mutual respect for each other. It requires that you be willing and able to consider your partners needs as much as your own. A key to a lasting relationship is to realize that as the years roll by you will fall in and out of love with your partner many times. When this happens, your deep friendship and respect for one another will tide you over until the spark is ignited again. Love changes as you and your partner change. It's not an emotion that carries the same intensity year round. If you have realistic expectations of a relationship over the years it helps you understand what is going on. When problems develop within a relationship and they always will, to keep it permanent you have to communicate and work through the problems. If you don't, then the relationship will end.

I ask this question almost every day. Here are the factors in love that result in permanency: Love is patient; love is kind and envies no one. Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude; never selfish, not quick to take offense. There is nothing love cannot face; there is no limit to its faith, its hope, and endurance. In a word, there are three things that last forever: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of them all is love.” If you can do all these things in a relationship, I think you have found your perfect equation. Unfortunately, people for the most part are selfish, egotistic, proud, and lack self-awareness. I think most people in the process lack courage. They don't want to be alone so they stay in unhealthy relationships. I think for there to be permanency, you have to be two relatively mentally healthy individuals and I do not know about you but most people I meet are crazy.

The most important factor in love is to communicate. Talk to your spouse about things. Talk to your spouse when you have ideas, feelings, problems, etc. and both of you decide what to do.
