Clint Dempsey is definitely the best american soccer player at the moment. 1 would be because he scored the only goal for the U.S in the world cup 2 because he's leading N.E Revolution in the right direction for once.

As of now, I guess i'll have to say Donovan, tho im a bit disappointed with him right now... Freddie Adu seems promising, i believe that when he gets older, he'll be an excellent player. But, the best player coming to MLS would have to be David Beckham, even though he's not technically an American Player yet.

im sorry but American futbol players will never reach the level of other countries like Argentina, Brazil, and European teams. Im not sure that there are enough great players in america to ever be able to, say, win a world cup or anything. its unfortunate for them, but its true.

i am a fan for america socer team and basketball for sure :D, i guess the best american socer player for now is Clint Dempsey but i prefer Landon Donvan...
