I just bought a usb bluetooth adapter, works great, but when i send music to my phone it doesn`t convert it to an mp3, any idea on how i can do this before i send it thru bluetooth? i only have windows media player on my pc

update windows media that should convert it to mp3 for you before you transfer

Well you can try to download a mp3 maker programme like audio crusher. But media player does make mp3 file formats as well. I just don't know how if the files are on the PC already. However if they are on a CD in wave format then it should be simple to rip and send.

It sounds like you are just configuring it as a wireless network device.
You most likely need the software from your Phone manufacturer to do the convertion of file formats. I have a nokia phone and the nokia software that came with the phone does it all for me.
If it's just a normal mp3 file you need use something like cdex.exe

yah..the bluetooth adapter simple transfer files ..doesn't care of it is the correct format or not.
what files are u sending over? .wav?
there are some software to convert other formats to .mp3

you need to have the software for your usb and you phone installed on your computer, you then need to make sure your phone is able to read mp3, once you done that transfer your music over and look on all folders on your phone for them.
