Then have a quicktime movie play in what ever position i like.

Interesting. There is AudioClip interface which enables playing audio files. Never tried movie files. Check Java media Framework. Also check the ability to play quicktime movie. For example to play mp3 audio u have to install an mp3 plugin. Otherwise can't play mp3 files.
