I have a chronic illness and it really helps me with the symtoms. However, in order to get any kind of relief I would have to break the law.

What you need is medicinal marijuana. There is tons of information on the net.
You should also go to blockbuster and rent the dvd's for all of Season 1 of "Weeds". That is a damn good series. They have an episode about medicinal marijuana. The extra features also talk about the history on why it is illegal.

basically it's still illegal because if you smoke it and decide to go and take a drive the police would need a blood test to prove your under the influence. Where as if you have been drinking they can just have you blow on a breath analyzer. Talk to your doctor about medical marijuana and see what he/she says. Remember though it has 10 times the tar of tobacco. And the tar is what causes cancer when it builds up in your lungs.

Marijuanna is illegal because recent study shows that marijuana secrets an oil on itself which this oil burns just as good as fossil fuel. Hmm so it would shut down the oil business for good. Also its a weed and since you can grow it in your back yard the government can't tax you on it. Marijuana was made a narcotic drug because Anslinger was a racist person and he blames the african american people who uses who made jazz music, as an example. To say that WTF is this kind of music? back in the days jazz musicians smoke weed. And anslinger blame them for it. I can go on forever but the root of the use of marijuana was about racism.

It is a gateway drug the medical people believe! Think of all the money that would be lost if it was legal: Fewer cops, fewer people without a job shut out of the economy, all the money that does get into the system!

If your job has no random drug testing and it makes you feel better,i would go ahead and smoke it.just because a bunch of lying polititians say it's a highway to harder drugs shouldn't stop you from haveing a comfortable life.just do it wisely.

Marijuana is a halluicnagen. Therefore it hurts your organs and you lose control of your body. Marijuana is very addictive. And what chronic illness do you have that would make you want weed?
