Stop trying so hard. As soon as my wife and I stopped all of the investigations, treatments, doctors' appointments and "scheduling" we'd endured for 2 years and just resigned ourselves to having one child we found ourselves pregnant with our second. Sometimes you need to just let go and resign yourself to letting whatever will happen naturally happen.

Our 1st was concieved when I was on the pill (no trying at all!), our second I needed treatment for endomietriosis but then it happened 2 months later, yet our third took 12 months of trying. And I mean TRYING. Without being too descriptive, on our fertile time twice a day for 5 or 6 days. This went on for months until we started seeing a fertility clinic and were going to start on clomid (fertility drug.) But then we went on a holiday, came home and a week before our appointment to start at the clinic I found out I was pregnant! The moral of the story, if you are stressed (which trying for a baby does make you if it goes on for months on end), relax, take a holiday and it may just happen! My very best of luck to you if you are hoping for a success story too.

When my husband and I were ready to have a child we didn't chart things, we didn't calculate my temprature, and we didn't use ovulation sticks. We just had unprotected sex and saw what came of it. A year and a half later--I was pregnant with out son. Sure, it took a long time but the "let's just see what happens" attitude worked much better then "why can't I get pregnant" one. Of course I went through times when I was like--what's wrong with me--but in the end it all worked out. So as hard as it it try not to "try." Just "see what happens." I'm sorry if that's not the answer you are looking for but it's the best I've got. Best of Luck!

After trying for many years, we finally adopted a baby from an orphanage in another country and we were so happy to have him and be his parents. It worked out so well we were starting the process of adopting a 2nd child when I find out I was pregnant after 10 years of no birth control. We were so happy but it was very difficult on me physically and even spent 8 nights in the hospital with infection from the c-section. Then, when we were ready for a 3rd child we decided to adopt again but this time a different country. Our family is complete now but I have learned that both adoption and natural childbirth are equally great ways to become parents. Good luck to you!!

My husband and I had been trying to conceive for about 3 years with no birth control or anything. About a year after trying I was diagnosed with PCOS. In July of this year we started seeing a fertility speacilist who started me on Clomid I took Clomid in August and September and after a HSG to check for blockages or endometrosis the doctor said I had a polyp at the opening of my uterus that was acting as an IUD and he scheduled me for surgery on Oct 5th. I resigned myself to surgery and found out a week before the surgery that I was pregnant. When you stop worrying and stressing and just let it go is when it seems to happen. Good Luck!
