hum, lets see...
1) throwing a cocktail-style holiday party (i dont say christmas because i have jewish, muslim, and atheist friends)
2)having a christmas movie marathon late at night with warm blankets and cookies!
3)doing more charity work!
4)making a mix tape of all my favorite christmas songs to play at my house
5)decorating outside, of course!
10)im a nanny and i always have the 3 girls i watch make cookies, start a christmas countdown and we learn that giving is better than recieving
11)i start reading the bible over again
12)spend some time with the boyfriend
13)have a nice dinner party with the family
14) buy everyone i know presents
i do A LOT for christmas because i want to spirit to stay alive at my house, i felt that as i grew up the season lost its luster and i stopped believing in the power of christmas. i think that its more of a giving, kind time of year and everyone is in a cheery mood. i know it hasnt even been halloween or thanksgiving yet, but why put off the fun!

I plan to jack up prices on 90% of the items in the store beginning the day after Thanksgiving, and drawing the crowds with a loss leader here and there; then, the day after Christmas, I'll cut all my prices by 70%, which still gives me a nice little mark-up. I love watching all you shoppers scrambling and grabbing. Happy holidays, indeed! See you at the mall!

Spending time in the country, cutting a tree, making homemade ornaments, decorating the tree by candle and the glow of a fire. The smell of homemade goodies. What could be better? The cooler weather does get one into the spirit of the coming seasons. Still we don't want to loose focus on what is really important, our God, family and friends. It's a time to give love and ask forgiveness of each other. To be charitable to all and to remember the reason for the season. .

I love X-mas season
lets see........
Yule log - a pagan tradition
Decorated Tree - a pagan tradition
The Feast - a pagan tradition
the celebration of life in the dead season - a pagan tradition
the usurping of a pagan festival by the Christians to celebrate the birth of a person that would have been born in Sep. - priceless
so i love the Holiday season, all the hypocrisy, all the pagan roots. i just love it

I'm not asking for any presents this year and am going to donate all the money that would have been spent on presents for me that I didn't even need to charity. Merry Christmas! â¥
