ok so i just found out that my bf lied to me and i dont really know what to do. see when we first met i asked him if he had verizon because i can only text verizon to verizon - nothing more and then like 1 month later he JUST told me that he has cingular and that he lied to me. he feels really bad so i dont wanna get mad at him but my bill is gonna be sooooo high!!! i dont know what to do or what to say to my mom. like she JUST started letting me see him again and shes just stating to like him so i dont wanna screw this up. i dont wanna say that he lied to me because then shell think differently of him and might not let me see him again, but i dont wanna say that he didnt because then she will get mad at me... i dont know whats worse to tell her its my fault or the truth that he lied... can some body pleasseee help?!?! - also does anyone know how much it is to text people???

on your phone u can dial #data and it will tell u how many messages u have sent and received. u just need to know when ur bill cycle closes.
what u need to do is call verizon customer service 1800-922-0204 tell them the situation and as long as your bill cycle didnt already close they can backdate your text plan. so say u only have a 250 message package but u have sent 1000 they can change it to a plan that covers your usage, thats way better than getting a $300 bill!!
text messages are $.10 each

Why don't you ask your BF to share the cost with you since his lie was the reason that you're in this jam.
If not, then tell your mom the truth, but tell her that you're willing to work it off if you want to take this charges on youreself, I don't know if you're working or not, but ask your mom if you could perform chores in contemplation of payment.
Judging from your writing, you're relatively young. I am sure your mom will understand. I know that you feel that if you told your mom the truth,it may seem like you're squeling on your bf.But that's not it, you're merely stated the truth and sharing the accountability. And, I would really think about if this guy is worth sticking around with cause he left you high and dry.
Verizon text message is about 3 cents per message depending on where you are and the plans you have.They also offer payment plans.

Verizon? They will charge you big time!!! but even though they screwed me up, I still luv em, IMO they're the best. Now, I don't care much for text messaging.
I say, tell your mom the truth!! You have nothing to hide for him, If you don't...later when he breaks up with you. You'll regret it.

When I have lied to women, they left me!!!!! So what about the next time, will you ever be able to trust him again, I mean this was a minimal reason to be lying. What about if it is something more important; will he tell the truth then?
