Put the radioactive sbstances into a 5cm thick lead lined box. Lower the box into the sea (abt 100m in depth)

I dont know where you are writing from but you probably missed several public consultations in England over the really old nuclear power stations. Most people did not read the small print but it was anexcercise in getting the radioactive emissions extended. The excuse was that being old stations the management would struggle to keep or cut the allowed levels. Well tough is what I say! Sadly Im one voice crying in a radioactive wasteland....
However I have been in taks with CoRWM (Committee on Radioactive Waste Management) for the last three years. Try looking up their reports on the web.

still not understood, due to lack of sufficiant knowledge as of yet, with this experimental fuel source. boom and we're all dust !
