I asked this question last night but i get much more responses in the morning so i'm asking it again and for htose who did respond last night thank you! if i wanted to work for the government...what kind of lawyer could i be? thank you

Tax lawyer springs to mind, human rights lawyer, immigration, litigation etc including personal injury. Governments get sued all the time. By the way, Tony Blair is a lawyer, so you could do your degree and then go straight into politics and become Prime Minister!

Just about every Department of the US government has legal positions, and just about every elected official practiced law at some time. You can start with the Department of Justice.
