I want to redo my own web pages. The only thing I've done before is use my hosting service's web builder. I'd rather not use the builder again as it's too limiting.
Thank you to all who answer. I appreciate the advice

if you are coming from those "web builder" stuffs then dreamweaver will take some of your take to get used to. but if you coming from like frontpage and or even have good layout or design experience of ms word, then dreamweaver should be relatively easy.

First of all, dreamweaver is the best RAD (rapid application development) web design/development tools in the market... and it's not a toy program, its actual professional application used by most web designers in the world. so if you take some time to learn it, you are doing yourself a BIG favor.

secondly, dreamweaver can be easy as your simple text editor or it can be as complicated as building ecommerce application tool. so if you start with dreamweaver you don't have to worry about all of it's features in the beginning. If you get some good books or tutorials from online, shouldn't be that hard... really. i really recommend you learn it. im a professional web developer and can't over emphasize how cool and important dreamweaver is.

Dreamweaver is super easy, I learned how to use it in less than 30 minutes. But then again, computers are my best friend.

There's a little tutorial. Really, I learned without one... I like to learn by myself.

i also learned without a tutorial both dreamweaver and front page.
But i was doing simple table layouts then. Now i build my websites with css only, i learned for that all the coding.
