My mother wants me to wear panties because she gets them on sale, when she buys her own. We are not very rich. I'm embarrassed in school.

If you are a boy, I would definitely not wear panties. You would get teased beyond belief if anybody finds out.
You can talk to you mom and let her know of your choice of underwear. In the long run, basic boxers are no more expensive than cheap panties. A good brand, such as Hanes, BVD, or FTL will last for a while. Cheap panties, while cheap, will need to be replaced more often.

Boxers because wearing panties as a boy puts you in an embarassing situation at school so the first one dismiss the second totally thanks
