Injuries caused her to stop playing for awhile. In December 2005, she started playing exhibition matches and tours.

She was stabbed in Germany. She never really recovered. Before that happened she was awesome. I have never seen a player , man or women hit such great angles as she was able to produce from the baseline. Also when she was recovering from the stabbing mentally her father died from a terrible ordeal with cancer. She was a bit heavier and had lost a step when she finally made a comeback . It is a sad story , but even with all that people will think back on Seles in her prime and think that she was a great player.

She got rich, fat & lazy , like most tennis players after they reach their goal (money) & that's why i call them money motivated players & not real tennis players who love the game as Agassi , Graf, Nevartilova,..etc.

well she grew old and had to retire cos age was catching up on her.
