I want to pass down the power of my consciousness, the ability to grin at a funeral and make others smile right with them, the rose-coloured glasses that block out the judgements of others and gives the courage to keep going, the devotion to knowledge, and the neverending curiousity....
Physically, i'd like to pass down my eyes but that doesn't really matter. What i'd really like to pass down is my smile... I have my mother's teasing smile and my father's wide grin, i don't want to lose that.

I have a 10 year old and 6 year old, both boys.
And they are both the very extremes of myself.
One is sensitive and kind, thoughtful and intelligent.
The younger is funny and mischievous...cheeky and direct.
I think that the traits that they have picked up from me are great. And I couldn't be happier.
(Except that my 6 year old heard me doing my Elmo impression and saying "Elmo has red testicles". Now he won't stop saying it when he thinks he can get away with it. It cracks him up)

Have you considered cryogenics? We may be able to bring you and your Mona Lisa smile back to life some day. Otherwise, I'm giving away my 12 golden rings, 3 French hens, two turtle doves, well you get the plan.

I'd like to pass on to my daughter my sense of humor, my willingness to help others in need, and my ability to cook. I'd also like to pass on my personal motto. "Never be too lazy to pick up a penny."

to be independent-thinkers [ be able to think for themselves, and know the right way out ] ... to be good people, to love themselves and choose only to give rather than take, to help those who are suffering... to judge noone.
to live life rather than fear it.
to be themselves and know deep down that they have something to offer. [i dont know it yet, but can't wait to find out at the same time lol]
and i just thought this up now lol.. this is what I want my kids to have..

Absolutely nothing. I hate everything about myself - looks AND personality. In fact, I wish I never have kids.
