I spend my friday evenings with my friends and thats it.

The whole saturday and sunday, I spend with my wife and 3 year old daughter. On Saturday, we go visit my wife's parents or my parents and sometimes my wife or my siblings. Then I take my wife for dinner and a movie. On Sundays be at home and spend time with my daughter and then we go to McDonalds and come home and watch with my daughter a kids movie. In the evening my wife and I take her to places like zoos, museum, parks, picnic etc.

So I'm like the whole Saturday and Sunday with my family. I like it spending more time with my wife and daughter than with friends.

Is this okay and am I living a normal life or do I need more time with my buddies? But I love spending time with my family. Does all this make me weird

Where did you come from????????

I wish there were more guys out there like you, actually wanting to spend time with their family and enjoying too.

No, it doesn't make you weird, it's just, in this day and age, unusual for a man to actually want to do the things you seem to enjoy so much. If your buddies are telling you that it's weird, perhaps it's because they're not as happy and content with their lives as you seem to be and are, therefore, jealous.

Keep doing what you're doing. Your wife and daughter are very lucky to have you.

Personally, I'm jealous too.

I think it is great that you want to spend time with your family and No, you aren't weird. So many husbands don't have their priorities straight. I DO think it is a good is idea to spend time with friends occasionally though. It gives you the opportunity to spend time with others that you share similar interests with outside of your wife. It also gives you something new to talk to your wife about if you have some outside interests or friends. Spending time away, even for a couple of hours can refresh everyone. Also, friends are very important and please don't let the ones you are fortunate enough to have slip away. All relationships need to be maintained, including friendships. Perhaps you and your wife can try having a potluck dinner and inviting friends over so you can have the best of both worlds. I think your wife is very lucky to have found someone who loves her so much that they truly enjoy her company.

None of this makes you weird. How your family is, is exactly how my family is. Every once in awhile, on a Saturday night, my husband and I will hang out with our friends (separately of course). We love our son and we love each other. But we do make plans so we can each see our friends once in awhile.

my opinion is there is nothing "weird" about you spending time with your family , they come first and there is plenty of time to be with friends . family time is very important, remember there is no such thing as spending too much time with them, they are very lucky to have a man like you for reals!
