Go to http://www.cheatcc.com/ -- they have tons of help and codes for Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time. They are always the best place to go for help with games.

Here's a link to a strategy guide. I'd pull you a more specific excerpt but from what you described I'm not sure which part of the game you're talking about.
