Without a doubt. Quo Vadis. A titanic epic of sweeping proportions, kinda like the Ten Commandments but lesser known. In this case Peter and Paul are in this movie instead of Moses and Christian martyrs are thrown into the arena so lions could be loosed upon them. For all the Christians out there I highly recommend it. Even to people of other faiths, to see how the early Christians suffered while that faith was still in its infancy. By the way "Quo Vadis" means "where are you going?" in Latin, Spanish "donde vas"

For a Few Dollars More.
People talk about horror movies and how they are so great becuase they are 'dark'. That movie is probably the darkest movie I have ever seen. I think it would be a fairly acurrate depiction of life in the 'wild west'. A lot more realistic that Bonanza anyway...

The Princess Bride My daughter loves this movie. We watched it together at least once a week for years. Now that she is 18 we still watch it at least twice a month. It just brings back wonderful memories of our Mommy/daughter time. I can't tell you how many copies we went through before DVD. I hope she shares the same movie with her daughter (when she has one in say 10 years or so)

Forbidden Planet. There's something wonderful about the wedding of Shakespeare and Sci-Fi that is just amazing. And the Disney animation is masterfully done. The sound (theramins and echo chambers and other electronic whoopwhoop) is also grand.
Plus, it had a fantastic cast, from Robbie to Cookie to Dock to Morbius, it was all wonderful.

It's a tossup between "Logan's Run", "The Warriors", and an obscure English movie about an embassy rescue called "The Final Option". None of these movies were high quality, but I love them all the same.
