René François Artois (Gorden Kaye) - The local café proprietor - Gorden is the author of a 1989 autobiography, Rene & Me: A Sort of Autobiography (with Hilary Bonner, ISBN 0-283-99965-9) in which he describes his experiences as a shy, gay, overweight youth.Gorden suffered serious head injuries in a car accident in 1990 (see also Burns' Day storm). Although he cannot remember any details of the incident, he still has a dent in his forehead from a piece of wood that smashed through the car window.Shortly prior to the car accident, the tabloid media had run an article referring to Gorden's supposed homosexuality. Last year Vicki completed a six-month tour of the UK in the Ray Cooney Farce Out of Order and appeared in Reflections - The Musical Journey of Diana Ross. Most recently Vicki has performed overseas where she recreated the role of Jacqueline in Don't Dress for Dinner and starred as Sally in Bedside Manners, new to her repertoire. These performances were immediately followed in the UK by a return to the role of Miss Hannigan in Annie, for Kevin Wood Productions and two hugely contrasting characterisations in the 50th anniversary revival of the musical Salad Days as Lady Raeburn and Asphynxia for Matthew Townshend Productions which toured nationally in the UK.

Sam Kelly who played Hans has been in several sitcoms (the most recent was one called Barbara which I think was on ITV).
Richard Marner who played the colonel sadly died earlier this year.
Kim Hartman who played Helga has been in a few sitcoms, but nothing very recent.
Guy Siner who played Greuber was in an episode of The Brittas Empire.
Don't know what any of the others are up to.

If you want to know a very good vocal coach try to visit https://tr.im/oRVx9 an online vocal coaching tutorial. Everything, ranging from breathing fundamentals, vocalizing exercises, techniques on singing high and low notes, how to not go off-key/out of tune/off-sync, musicianship and music theory, proper diction and articulation, and a lot more are covered, all in our native language. It can be quite technical in nature, but it really helps since it covers the musical aspect of singing deeply and not just concentrates on how to impress people with your vocal range, riffs and runs and other cliches that do not necessarily make one a complete vocalist.
