First you need to ask yourself why are you with someone who mistreats you. Secondly, you need to find a support group and move on.

Well, you can always do what I just recently did. By the time he got home from work, his car was packed (I had used it that day, while he drove my new car to work), with all of his belongings, when he arrived, I requested my house key back, told him that things weren't working out for me, and told him to please leave. He didn't particuarly like it much, but it was effective.

On the other hand, if this guys is physically mistreating you, I suggest you pack your car and leave. Go to the nearest women's shelter. DON'T say a word to him, just be gone when he gets home. If he has a brain in his head, he will figure out that you are gone.

Tell him honestly that you don't want to be with him anymore because he mistreats you. Make him realize the malady you are in for his being like that.

If you think that you really want to separate ways with him. exit from his life gracefully. If he doesn't accept that idea, and he uses force or coercion on you, tell him that if he doesn't stop from being like that, you will bring the matter to your lawyer. A trusted lawyer can really help you to get rid of that man who doesn't deserve your love. All the best.

just tell him that you need to get out of your relationship before you lose respect for each other. Tell him you don't love him anymore and mean it. If he wont entertain the idea, then make him feel uncomfortable when you are together until he gives up.

walk away . if he hassles you get the police involved , go to a woman's shelter if you need to --- anything , there is nothing worse that having to put up with a weak -gutted male who decides the best thing in his life is to belted around -- tell him to get in the boxing ring if he feels he can whack people around .
don't put up with it i had an old man who did similar things to my my mother -- and she felt she couldn't walk away --- back then maybe she couldn't --- but this 2006 !!! walk away , for your own sanity and peace of mind --- life means more than this .

Good girl! your smart to get rid of him. In any aspect of life you must demand respect to receive it. Good for you for recognizing he's not up to standards in that department.

You say " I need someone in my life who loves and respects me as I love and respect them. I feel in our relationship this has been very one-sided. I don't think we should see each other anymore."

You can do it! Good luck!
