"Medieval" is from the middle ages and "mythical" is from legend.
I cannot give you examples from a book I am unfamiliar with, its really up to you to decide which elements of the book come from history and which come from legend or myth.
Is it the concept of "elements" that is confusing you? This means basic parts or themes (in this context).
Are you familiar with the story of "King Arthur and the knights of the round table"?
Some of the mythical elements of this story are Excalibur, the Lady of the Lake, Avalon, the round table, Merlin, Arthur and so on.
The medieval elements would be the things like methods of transport, suits of armour, jousting, the clothing worn, the food eaten, the methods of warfare, the social order etc etc
Hope this helps.

medieval = middle earth
The Middle Ages are commonly referred to as the medieval period or simply medieval (sometimes spelled "mediaeval" or, historically, "mediæval").
The Middle Ages formed the middle period in a traditional schematic division of European history into three "ages": the classical civilization of Antiquity, the Middle Ages, and Modern Times. The Middle Ages of Western Europe are commonly dated from the 5th century division of the Roman Empire (into the Western Roman Empire and the Eastern Roman Empire) and the barbarian invasions until the 16th century division of Christianity during the Protestant Reformation and the dispersal of Europeans worldwide in the start of the European overseas exploration. These various changes all mark the beginning of the Early Modern period that preceded the Industrial Revolution
In common usage, myth means a falsehood — a story which many believe to be based on fact but which is not true. However, the field of mythology does not use this definition.
Then, mythical elements means elements of a falsehood, or something like that.

Jerk within the verb sort way to drag away all of a sudden, transfer/act in an thoughtless means, and so forth. Hence one is classified a Jerk, for doing, pronouncing matters which are thoughtless, impolite, or simply undeniable unacceptable habits. Since you will have taken the vigour to have her seem it up within the dictionary, than it's most probably you'll discover comparisons on her degree. The child that cuts in line is performing like a Jerk. The child that tattles ALL the time, on EVERYONE, is performing like a jerk. The child that jerks the toy clear of you when you've got been gambling with it, is performing like a Jerk. Examples abound. Good Luck.

If you looked up the definitions, how can you not "get it"? Zack Martin is right, go to google and find out the information you need there.
