Anyone who knows anything about forensics, and who saw the pictures of wreckage knows that it was no shot down. Your friend who supposedly told you it was, is and idiot and a liar (if that's what he said.) There are so many conspiracy theories out there, but they are all believed, and propogated by people who don't know anything about what they speak. For instance, the people who say the twin towers could not have collapsed just froma a plane crashing into them, obviously do not know anything about building construction, and how a huge fuel fire would affect it. Those of us who understand it, do not find it surprising or impposible for them to have collapsed. Rather, it makes perfect sense. You should talk to someone who actually knows about the subject they are speaking on, and not just someone who has some irrelevant connection to the government, and uses that to spread lies.

No, it is not true that it was shot down. The idea that there was something nearby to shoot it down was properly debunked, much like many of the other theories surrounding 9/11.
Are you sure your friend has it straight?
Of course the wreckage wouldn't be able to prove otherwise, it's just wreckage. All they have is the cockpit's black box.

no believe that it crashed, was not shot down if it was the wreckage would have been spread out over miles. at the chrash site you can not see anything outside the crater. that would happen if a plane went down nose first as all the cell phones and black box point out

i believe it was shot down.i was watching TV when this happened.soon after they sent the fighter jets to intercept that plane to make it land.this is when it crashed.it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out.and as much as i don't like George Bush, you cant blame him for this one.they had no choice and im sure there was no negotiating with the nut that was flying the plane.and yes everyone on that plane was and is a hero.they died to save the lives of other people.and who knows how many lives they saved.god bless each and everyone of them.they are all saints in my book

It was shot down. The Secret Service could not afford another hit on a major target. That's why there is so much emphasis on the victims seen as HEROES. US Government plays with history.
Do you really think regular passengers could take on terrorist empty handed? Remember, the terrorists were suicidal.
F-16 shot on the spot. End of the subject.

NO stop with the conspiracy theories. Remember some of the passengers talked to their families on cell phones.

i've got faith the authorized account is the actual one. placed it this way, in case you have been on the airplane and you knew you have been going to die, could you're taking over the hijackers or enable them to kill hundreds of people? look into the Wikipedia account.

Yes, of course.
The debris field is completely inconsistent with the official tale that it crashed nose-first into the ground.
