Tonight after watching the first game of the World Series I was so excited seeing this great rookie pitcher pitch such a smooth game and stay in as long as he did without any major goofs....do you know of anyone else who did the same or is he the first at the World Series?

he is not the first, but he certainly pitched a great game. If left in last night, I'm sure he would've finished it off well, but all in all he pitched a great game. Looper did a fine job as well, and the Cards are well on their way.
