Since cricket is a game of uncertainties, nothing can be predicted for sure about the outcome of a tournament in advance about. Not even the players have been finalised by each team. No one knows what will be the strength of the teams by the time the world cup starts. No prediction is possioble based on the ranking of either the players or the team as the outcome of the match will depend on the performance olf the players on the day of the match.
So, at this stage one can only say that whichever team performs consistently during the world cup matches will emerge as winners.
