It is their right. I love my job, I like my coworkers, I like my pay, but I absolutely HATE the management. People who go on strike do so because the owners or management are complete asses. Workers are people and should be treated as such, not like trained animals. If employers would respect human rights there would be less disgruntled workers. I'm not on strike and hope to never go on one, but some managers only understand money and a strike hits them where it hurts, in their wallet.

Lots of people should do that
more often. People Power!

It seems that today the company
gives all the workers so much
responsibility, and so little staff
that it makes it impossible to
get all the work done.

Especially if there are some
deadbeats who should be fired
for not working.

Management of most places
is not truly interested in running
a company to get the most or
to give the most.

They don't put their heart into it.
Then they don't understand why
it wasn't successful!

I can understand strikes if they are a last resort after all other means to negotiate have been exhausted. I don't believe in illegal strikes and I feel that strikes in general can be ugly nasty ways to get resolution. Often you end up with much less than you bargained for.

Organized labor had its time and its place, now it is driving jobs away from the USA. Look at the automotive industry for the best example.

They deserve the exact amount of money earned for their work. Many are under-payed because they let their bosses strip them of their money and they get stuck working for minimum wage and even in less in sweatshops

i think it is the right thing to do. If their workplace is unsafe and it doesn't care about OH &S then i think they should be able to have a say.

If they don't like their job, I think they should find themselves another one. If you are pushing other people to strike, too, I think it's unfair.

depends, if they dont like the type of work, ie a slaughterhouse, then they should just get another job, if the boss is pinching their bum or something, its different.

If they are as disgusted as they claim to be, wouldnt it be easier to find a job they do like? Seriously if you dont like your job, dont do it, your only making other ppl miserable by being there.
