There are several decent institutions where English as a foreign language is taught.

First of all you need to check out the American Univeristy in Cairo - Center for Adult & Continuing Education - English Studies Division. The web site is

Another excellent option is the British council. The offer eight week courses cover everyday topics and language topics. You will develop reading, writing, listening and speaking skills and extend vocabulary and grammar.
