So true. I've believed this since the year 2000 when I first read Joseph Murphy's "The Power of Your Subconscious Mind." This phenomena can be true for both positive as well as negative thinking. Seems that whenever my mind is untamed and meandering through garbage thoughts, the events in my life seem to degrade as well. Conversely, when I make it a point to be positive, I tend to have better experiences. Thanks for reminding me about this. I'm going back to read Murphy's book again - for the 11th time.

Of course I have noticed this, and it is truly remarkable. I think it's amazing that one day I can wake up and think "I think I want to buy a new house." Suddenly I go to work, start working harder, trying to earn more money. Go to the bank to apply for a loan. Begin looking at houses.

All this from an idea in my subconcious mind. An idea, for all intents and purposes that wasn't even real. But manifested itself into reality.

Anything you think or do changes what happens next. You have to think and act positively. You have to be knowing, understanding and aware of what you are doing or saying before you even begin if you want something good to come of it. Even the word "tough" is often followed by the word "love". Think about things for a moment before you make your move. Give yourself a chance to consider what might happen next.

Absolutely. The power of thought is greater than we know! This is what makes meditation, or silent time, so important. We need time to fill our mind with positive thoughts and direct it to where we want to go! Otherwise we muddle through life bouncing off whatever happens to be in our paths.

It almost certainly does- In Criminal justice, its called Premeditated crime, and tomorrow you go to Prison- For Government figures, we now have the Iraq War - as example .
For the Student, study now, earn a degree and live a better life- tomorrow. And don't forget your fellow man- as his circumstances today and now may be yours tomorrow.

Sure, and it even creates your circumstances in the next minute, that is why you should always be very careful today so you will not do something that will effect the you that will exist tomorrow.

Yes I have noticed that. I have depression and for a long time I have been having an episode with it, I came out of it and now I have very few friends, they gave up on me.

Circumstances never come! They exist and we just look for them as per our need.

We look for only those things we wish to have and ignore other 'circumstances' since we feel that they are not for us. If we can be clear on which 'circumstances' are to be looked upon, then we will be wise.
