What game would you play? Why did you choose those three? And what would you talk about? (yes, all invitees can speak and understand your native language fluently...)

For me... I would invite Alexander the Great, Napolean Bonaparte and Aldoph Hitler... the game we would play would be the strategic board game Risk.

I would want to see who the better strategist is.... and while playing, I guess we would talk about world domination...
:)

It doesn't matter what game... it could be a game of two against two in basketball or even a video game...

It could be Dance Dance Revolution with you against a younger Sammy Davis Jr, Bob Hope and Jack Cole... and most points wins... whatever...

Best Wishes...

I thought about playing the game Axis and Allies instead of Risk, but I didn't want Adolf Hitler to feel uncomfortable...

I guess I could play Conquest of an Empire... but I know I will lose....
:)

Thanks for your imput...

Best Wishes...

I would want to learn from multi-talented and smart people.

I would invite Leonardo Da Vinci, Carl Sagan and Benjamin Franklin. All 3 were scientists and writers, 2 were inventors, and 1 was an artist.

The game would be Trivial Pursuit - my personal favourite.

The only area I might differ with you on is determining who the better strategist is by playing Risk. Risk is more of a game based on geometric expansion using some cognitive skills and dice, while the application of sound military strategic doctrine and logistics is another thing entirely. It would be fun though!

For my money Napolean was a purist strategist, and the best on your list. Hitler was a poor strategist who ignored the very able advice of his generals time and again and was defeated in large part because of overiding his generals. He is probably the best orator, motivator, and politicaly effective person on your list. Alexander is probably the best tactician on your list. Some of the tactics he used were incorporated into standard tactics used by Napolean, Hitler, and even today.

Sorry aout all of that. To answer your question...

My favorite candidate to invite would be Christ. But he would win every game before it even began. The conversation would be beyond anyone elses. But there is also a legal question as to whether a "risen" individual in a state of infinite holiness is dead or not, so he might defer my invitation.

Your question deserves more time to ponder than I have time for right now. It is a wonderful question, and I'm taking it seriously.

Good luck to you.

I would choose Teddy Roosevelt, Mark Twain and Winston Churchill. In this combination I might also choose risk because of the duration and strategies involved and all the insights into human nature displayed. Each of these figures had great insight into the ways we human beings behave.

Jesus of Nazareth (two for one, because he used to be each a Jew, and began the complete Gentile motion referred to as Christianity), Mohammed (of Muslim popularity), Buddha, Jenna Jameson. Only the real ideal son of God might no longer spend the whole time oogling a porn famous person, so it'll be exciting to look their reactions.
