when im driving i have to floor my gas pedal every ones in a wile not foor it to speed but to keep my car at a madurate speed

Take it to the dealer where they can properly analyze the problem.

You may possibly need a tune up. If the plugs are worn, or the fuel filter and air filter is clogged, this will limit the amount of fuel getting into the engine to supply your engine with the power it needs to accellerate normally.

if it is an automatic with overdrive it won't have alot of power till it drops down to drive. same with a manual trans if you are in hi and just trying to gain speed fast you will need to drop down a gear

i had the same problem...it was the fuel pump&i needed a tune up too...i took it to midas...they charged me $700

your carb is starving for fuel maybe? change the fuel filter..get a tune up.

if it is diesel engine than you must change gas filter.
