There are so many posts on here from gay people (mainly boys, it seems) who desperately wish they could 'turn' straight, but do you know anyone straight who really wishes they could be gay?
(If you need to know, and just so no-one thinks I am gay-bashing, I am gay myself, and just curious about the question.)

I was wondering about people like Jonathon Ross, who are so keen on what they perceive as the gay lifestyle, and fashion, etc, but say they regret simply not having the sexual inclination to go with it. Is there anyone you know in the 'real' world who thinks that way?

I'm bisexual, so I suppose I don't really 'count', but since my attraction's primarily towards men and I look and "act" straight (whatever that means), I think I could sidle in to answer the question. Sometimes I really do wish I was gay! There is something about heterosexual relationships that turn me off even while men turn me on, if that makes any sense to anyone except me. When I'm with a guy, I just want to be able to tell everyone who sees us that "We're queer and we're together.". So they don't assume that we're like everyone else. I have no clue where this comes from at all, except maybe a weird internalized heterophobia. But when all's said and done, I've wanted to be a gay man all my life, to be part of that lifestyle, to have that hot sex, etc., etc.. I pretty much classify myself as a gay-leaning bisexual man lovingly nestled (not trapped) inside a woman's body. Freaky? Perhaps . . .

I am actually considering this myself, which is how I found this page
I don't really know if it is just a phase, or if it will last longer. I don't think I can be the only one. if you are thinking about it ,and are wishing you were part of the LGBTQ+2 community, well now you know your not alone.
If you were just asking for the sake of asking, well, than I guess I have answered your question

I am more on the straight side but I have bisexual tendencies. I hear all the time that homosexual relationships are always longer lasting and they feel a deep connection with their partners because they're the same sex and they understand one another and sometimes it makes me feel envious as I've never deeply connected with my ex boyfriends before. Sometimes it does make me curious that if I was in a same sex relationship, I would see it for myself because guys just don't understand us most of the time and part of being in love is understanding each other and I feel being with another female would be incredible but I really would only feel comfortable being with a man, as it just felt right for me☺️

Yay, I'm not the only one! For some reason I really want to be gay, or at least bi. I'm not sure if I'm straight though...I could identify myself as bi-curious. Girls turn me on, but I don't know if I want to date them. :\

If they're 'acting' anything they sound pretty immature. There is a wide range of masculinity (how you express you maleness) and sexual orientation has nothing to do with it.

I have all my life considered myself to be straight although recently I have I guess become bi curious, I think at this point in my life if I could be hypnotised to be gay rather than just curious I d definitely go for it, so yes I guess I wish I was gay.

I'm bisexual, and a lot of the time I wish I wasn't so gosh darn attracted to men so I wouldn't have to put up with their stupid male dominance, their showoffiness, their pecking order, their insensitivity, their... smiles... and chests... and strength... and the way they smell good after a shower... and....

I'm bi, and used to sometimes wish that I was 100% lesbian instead. I wanted to fit into that group instead of just being another bisexual woman.
