I work as a long distance courier so spend upto 8-9 hours driving across uk, and radio gets boring after a while, was lent an audio bookj from a frien which was great and really passed the time,, but at £20-£30 a pop i cant really afford to buy them as 1 book generally last 1-3 journeys so would cost a bomb!!#

basically does anyone know where i can download them for free?? im particularrly keen on stephen king books,, have searched on t'net but not had much look, just authors i havenever heard of mainly?!?!?

i would appreciate any help ypu may be able to offer,,,

Great link to Limewire! It's full of Stephen King books!


oops. just read on another thread that Limewire is guaranteed to swamp your computer with adware, and viruses and is very slow. Someone recommended Frostwire instead - apparently faster etc but it looks just like Limeware. Oh and apparently both are illegal!

Librarys do an audio book, you can lend them from there for a small price. Check out your local Library. xxx

loan them from your library they cost about 60p (depends on how many tapes) and you would probably have a loan period of 4 weeks. as libraries are moving to stories recorded on CD you will probaby see that they are selling off stories on tape at a cheap price

However if you buy them second hand off ebay you could pick them up for as little as £2 or £3.

I've brought a whole load off ebay, have not listened to them all yet !

Get them free and legally rom a library.
Don't steal them online - it is illegal and shows contempt towards the author.

they can be downloaded from www.limewire.com. Did this for a recent holiday and put them on my vaio
