I understand why God does not stop a lot of the things we see today because basically he has allowed mankind to make his bed and lay in it. But why didnt he prevent all the problems from starting or continuing. Please provide biblical scriptural proof for your answers (and make sure it is in harmony with the rest of the bible no cross conflicting of scriptures)

In the first place were God to take away all of the problems in the world he would be taking away our free agency, our freedom to choose between right from wrong. It has been a choice right from the beginning. Had God prevented Adam and Eve from making choices in the garden of Eden, we wouldn't be here. It was the fall that generated the ability to multiply and replenish the earth. God made intervention for the mistakes of mankind by sending Jesus Christ to break the bonds of death, open the doors to eternal life and atone for the sins of man kind. Satan is the only one who wants to control people, take away their freedom of choice. Him and the 1/3 host of heaven who were kickout for that very reason. Hope this helps. Chow

Reference: Revelation12: 4 And his tail drew the athird part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

Revelation 12:7-9
7 And there was awar in heaven: bMichael and his cangels fought against the dragon; and the ddragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in aheaven.
9 And the great dragon was acast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Revelations 12:17

17) And the adragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

i am a layman so i cannot provide any biblical references or proof, but i would like to nevertheless share my views.

1) if you grow apple seeds, you will get apple trees and apple fruits. there is no way an orange tree will spring from that seed. what i am saying is that such problems are coming about because their seeds have been planted a long time ago, and it is only natural that they harvest now. God doesnt give you a orange tree if you plant an apple seed just because you changed your mind. we reap what we sow.

2) action speaks a thousand words. God has sent many prophets to send us His words. did that help us with our growth and wisdom? similarly, some parents believe that a wayward child will learn better if he gets burnt, since he wont learn and will eventually let curiosity gets the better of him.

3) who created the problems, God or us? if it is the latter, why should it fall on God's shoulders to clean up our acts?

4) have you ever thought that perhaps God has given up on us? if not, then why is doomsday necessary in the first place?

5) finally, look at the natural state of all things in life, there is a harmony and balance in it - for living things, there is birth, growth, aging/illnesses and death. for non-living things, there is creation, usage, wear/tear and destruction. if you must know the truth, we are at the second last stage now, where the world's finite resources are strained by ourselves and we are all fighting for survival.

if you look at it in view of this different light, is it really still so strange of the problems that plague us all now?

to answer that question one must look at what hap pend in the garden of Eden. when gods fallen angel came down to earth and temped Eve, he in effect questions God right to rule mankind. Satan implied that man followed god only because they had to. he also implied that they did not need god and that they had no free will to do otherwise. So god let man think for himself , and left mankind to do as it saw fit. we today are still answering Satan challenge and question to god. whether we follow god or not, in a way he has left us to our own accord knowing full well that he would be pr oven right. God could at any time, stop it, but Jesus said that the end would not come until the good news had been preached through out the whole world, that process is still going on. Bible Scripture in Mathew mark Luke and john, show what it was going to be like in the last days and that is what we are living in. so god has set a time limit on allowing Satan's original question to be answered. that way their can be no doublt as to the proof. remember when Jesus cast out the sports from the possessed man into the swine they said why do you bother us its not the time of the end.

You say you understand in your question. Mankind makes that mistake that they understand God. No man knows the mind of the Creator though most think they do for example good vs bad and their conscious thoughts.Man is inherent of sin and you can only view things in human terms and through human eyes. If you believe that most of the Bible is correct and we are to believe and be followers of the Christ, new testament, then read Ephesians where it says we are from God, and belong to Christ as all things were known long ago. If mankind influences or is guided by sin and evil, that is why perhaps God does not interfere in mans doings as you stated. People use to say that God is dead for that very reason. It's all a matter of faith and which denomination you choose to follow, God allowed you free will and a life of choices and changes. If you refuse to follow God knows your heart, if you only believe in yourself and mankind, then why bother.

God wants you to accept him to have the Holly Spirit in you, but you will get it once you accept that God is your Master, and you ask forgiveness for your sins, that's the only thing he is asking you , once you have accept him, you are cover with his love, but he doesn't want you to be his slave, and he gives you free will, so you can do what you want, you can plant good seeds or bad seeds, in your soul you can notice when you have done good things to people that surround you, even your thinking , you know when it is a good will, not all the people have the Holly Spirit with them, that takes care for them, and lets them discern between the spirit and the flesh, some are driven by the flesh, and their actions will cause chaos, that's why it is so important, to pray for the presidents, ministers , and people in charge of countries; because they could be overcome by bad influences and this will produce, consequences to the nations and people they govern. It is he same as in the families, the father must lead the conduct of their families, if he is an alcoholic, the family will disintegrated, if he doesn't have God in his spirit, he will mislead his family, ask other people that have accept God in their life, their testimony ,how it was without the Holly Spirit, and after they received him, how it changed their life's, how it has changed mine.

The Bible doesn't give a clear answer to this question. The book of Job wrestles with the problem for about 40 chapters, but all it comes up with is a clear denial of the idea that if you suffer it must be punishment for sin, and a rejection of Job's insistence that he is righteous and God owes him an explanation for his suffering.

Yet somehow Job finds peace in God's reprimanding him and reminding him that God is the one in charge and it's not for Job to judge what God does.

This isn't much help if you're trying to find answers for friends who are hitting you with paradoxes like this one. However it does help us realise that God's presence has power to comfort in good and bad times, and that we can reach true joy by submitting to God in faith. Rather than dependence on the bible as some sort of text book which magically gives all of life's answers, it's the personal relationship to God that brings joy and wisdom.

Okay, Junior; you asked for it, so you're going to get it.
Start with Gen. 1:26-28 This is where He created man & gave him dominion over every living thing.
Now check out Gen. 2:15-17 God set boundaries for man's behavior.
Now read all of Genesis 3
Any questions?
Seriously, this does address your question directly, but you must read the verses with spiritual perspective. One of the most moving songs I ever heard, which plays directly to this , features the verse where God is in the garden, calling, "Adam, Adam, where are you?" It is the most poignant cry I will ever hear, and I believe it says it all.

Have you ever noticed when there is a tragedy like the tsunami back in 2004, how it brings the best out of most people. Everybody wants to help, you pray more and there is much more tolerance. for all the bad in the world there is far more good. This is God's test to man kind. That is just what I grew up to believe and still do.

Because we're living out the war between good and evil from the spiritual realm. We're also learning whats required to live in peace and harmony in heaven. And more importantly, what we're doing is what GOD wants, not what we want.

Satan owns this planet- go check out where Jesus is taken to a high mountain, and satan shows him all the kingdoms of the world,,,and if Jesus bows down to him in worship, satan will GIVE him this world because it was given to him!!

No, I am not much a quoter of the Bible. I believe God gave us free rein over this earth & it is up to us to decide weather we are going to do good or bad with it. The good things & bad are a part of life. The main thing is to learn from each part & make a better life & better world.
