Billy the kid got it right here!

Here's a verse for you from the Lord.

Eph 4:26

And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil.

friendship, trust, loyalty, patience, honesty and being a good listener.
Never let a day go by without telling your partner that you love them and never sleep on an argument. Whenever you feel cross with them try to remember what it was that made you fall in love with them in the 1st place.
I also feel that the ability to be able to make each other laugh even on the sh**tist days works wonders. Oh yeah, and loads of cuddles.

Well to me marriage is the hardest job you will ever have. I think staying together so long you need to have communication and laughter. Having fun is something I swear by I have been married 20 yrs. and we have had our share pf problems but laughter keeps us together the most. when you fight make up of course but do it like a joke laugh it off and both agree on how stupid you were. It makes sense if you both say you were wrong. Than your also both right!! Just have fun life is to short and hey their must of been a reason why you got married in the first place!

To be happy you need to love...
to have a sucessful relationship you need communication and trust...
A relationship wont really last or stay happy for very long without those things

First you must have God in your life, that is the big factor to having a good marriage, and one that lasts. Without God everything you do is in vain, and useless. Without God nothing makes any sense, especially relationships.God, honesty, communication, dedication, willingness to change, faithfulness, forgiveness, these things make a relationship, and I mean a marriage. I have all these things and have been married for five years and still going strong even after three kids. Good luck, and God bless.

Honesty, respect and dignity, being in love with that person, being there for them when they have a bad day and they are there for you in the same way. understanding, and loyalty and trust

Yes because without these factors in a rel there would be no rel.

Don't compare it with anything; don't look for factors. You are having a happy relationship if you feel you are happy. Period.

really what it all boils down to is if you can see yourself with that person through anything it will work, and just talk and be as honest as you can without being hurtful if you don't have that trust in each other there wont be any solid foundation to keep growing.

love, commitment, understanding, respect and companionship... No one can guarantee a relationship can be happy forever, so if I hv it I will treasure it. If I dont have it, I will hope to find one.
