I bought some cleaning solution for my home and it had bleach in it. The top was not screwed on tightly and it wasted on my carpet and now I have a discolored bleach stain. Does anyone know what can I do to recolor the carpet?

Try regular clothes dye, it might work.

You can't. It's been bleached. Even if you try to recolor it, it won't match. Auto carpet is very finicky, and once stained or bleached, ispretty much a lost cause.

Shop for some floor carpet pieces made for cars that blend with the interior. It will seem fashionable, while in all honesty you're just covering up!

It's just one of those accidents you may just have to live with.

It is cheaper to simply replace the carpet. Many "after market" auto supply dealers will have carpet that will match your automobile's make and model. Replacing the carpet isn't brain surgery, but you would need a few common mechanics tools and an afternoon, OR call in a favor from a male relative and let him do it.
