Highly illegal for a teacher to touch a student any way.

I wouldn't be surprised. It is illegal in the U.S. to do that but some areas still don't pay much attention to physical abuse. I have heard of parents in the South who have no problem with a teacher spanking, slapping the backs of hands and twisting ears. Where I live that would get you in big trouble- most likely jail time. The problem is unless there is a witness, it is kind of hard to prove. I have been told by parents to spank but we are not allowed. I wouldn't do it anyway. I think physical punishment is horrible and should be against the law.

i have seen that happen once, but she wasnt a teacher, she was just a teachers helper, i never said anything about it to anyone, and i kinda think i should have. No one needs to be treated like that. why has that happend to you? or do you know someone that that has happend to? if so, go to the principal right away and talk to him about it. that woman could lose her job, or at least get a nice yelling at. or maybe he will pinch the teacher =]

only at the college level where its OK for the teachers to boink the students during sex,,,,,

well if they did they are able to be targeted by the law and can be sued harder than that pinch
