This is a extremely serious situation. You need to have to plan to exit this situtation. Make a note of when he is gone. If you can hide a list in a safe place or put a light pencil dots on a calendar, the dates he is sneaking out. Don't let he know you are doing that. Listen to the news or crime bulletins to see if there something happening on these dates.
Figure out is it his blood? or someone else? A few things are obvious, he is hurting someone, an animal or himself. He is also stressed out and is keeping some kind of big, bad secret from you. Does he take the car when he goes? Look under his shoes and see if there is anything there. If I were in your shoes, I would be jumping the ship or fleeing like a bat out of hell.
Find out what you can safely and leave when he is at work or gone for a few hours. Call your mom or your friends, don't explain anything yet and don't let him find out. Plan a time to leave and go stay with them. Or even better - go somewhere, where he can not find you.

I do hope that this is some sort of joke by you.
If this is really happening, you need to work with someone right away to confront him and find out what is going on. Is he attacking animals or even people?
You need to work with a counselor or therapist to decide if you should stay in this situation or take your son and leave. You also need help deciding if he needs to be reported to legal authorities (police) as a danger to others.
Good luck, and please don't delay.

ugh, problem here!!!!!....if this is for real, there is a big issue...and I am not joking at all...there have been many crime cases where the wife had no idea her spouse was out doing unthinkable acts of violence, and if it is true what you wrote, you may need to go talk to a detective and have them do a surveillance on him. You may not really want to do that, but IF TRUE, you have no idea what you may be dealing with, and you wouldn't want to become a victim yourself...IF this is NOT TRUE, and you wrote this for some attention, it is not even remotely funny....the morgue is filled with victims that aren't able to play around on this site for their own amusement.....

Sounds to me like it may be in both you and your son's best interest to let him leave. Something is definitely not right about the situation. Peace and God bless.

sorry for you. approach and get some professional help if he's unwilling to talk and explain rather than continue to live with fear. if he's into something that he shouldn't why afraid having him leaving you and your son rather than putting you all into danger and not knowing what will happen next.

Does he howl at the moon or sleep all day and walk the night? Or is he a hit man or a gangster? Maybe he is into eating raw meat?

Wait until he's his normal self and try to persuade him to tell you what he has been doing. If you don't get anywhere I would consider moving out. Good luck.
