Do you know the names of any hotels in Birmingham with good wheelchair access. I will be travelling alone and can not walk at all so it must be very good access.

I agree with the first post - by law all hotels are obliged to have adequate disabled access.

Being as disabled person, however, I know that the standard of access varies from place to place!

Do a search on hotels on the internet - most hotels have a website these days and all should list what their access facilities are - lifts for example.

Once you have narrowed the list down, contact the individual hotels via email or telephone and ask them whether they are able to meet your requirements.

Don't forget that if you are driving that you also need to consider what the parking facilities at the hotel are - some don't have any parking facilities at all!

Good luck and enjoy your stay!

I thought that every hotel had to have wheelchair access these days?? Pick the hotel you like and give them a ring to find out how good they are.
