The baby tested positive for marijuana when it was born 2 weeks ago. Now the mother is still smoking and is nursing this child.

Smoking marijuana by anyone in FL is a crime. A nursing mother who smokes marijuana could be subject to further penalties if the authorities believe her behaviour is endangering the welfare of her child.
